I toss my phone to the side, sick of working when I should be enjoying my time off. I didn’t stay in Podunk, Georgia, to keep working.
In our suite’s living room, Tanner and Trace are playing some stupid video game. Trace is terrible and has lost at least ten times since they started this morning.
“You’re children,” I say, heading towards the kitchen. I grab a beer from the fridge. “Anyone need a drink?”
The guys ignore me. I roll my eyes, grabbing two more bottles and closing the fridge with my foot. I open up the beers and make my way towards the couch. I could be nice and go behind them so I don’t block their view of the screen, but I’ve never claimed to be nice.
“Asshole,” Trace mutters. A few faux gunshots ring out through the speakers, and Trace’s half of the screen goes dark.
“Yes!” Tanner yells, offering me a high-five. I slap my palm against his. “I’m killing at this. I should go pro.”
“Your company needs you.”
He shrugs. “They’ll survive.”
We all know he’s not serious. He loves what he does too much to leave them behind. Besides, I don’t think you can make that much money at video games.
Trace turns off the TV, leaving the room silent. “I’m never playing that shit again.”
He says that now, but he’ll be back behind a controller tomorrow morning. It can be boring hanging out in this hotel by ourselves. It sucks that Kendall has to work and volunteer so much.
At least she’s coming over today. It’s been less than twenty-four hours since we had her in the manor. My cock twitches just thinking about getting her in our bed.
“When will Kendall be here?” Tanner asks, reading my thoughts. The guys know I texted her a little while ago. I didn’t bother pretending like we wanted her to show us around town.
“Should be soon. She said she had to go home and change.”
Trace groans. “Why can’t she be here now?”
I chuckle and take a long sip of my beer.
“She was volunteering today, right?”
I nod. Kendall has told us a bit about the program she volunteers for. She’s such a genuine, good person. We don’t deserve such an incredible woman, but as long as she’ll have us, we’re going to try and treat her right.
“I think we should make that non-profit happen for her,” Tanner says. “She seems like she could handle it.”
“I’m in,” I say. “We need a plan, but we could set it up.”
Trace nods. “It’s not like it would be hard for us. We could easily get donors, and anything else we can fund ourselves. It’ll be a drop in the bucket.”
Being billionaires means that people treat us differently because they want something. Kendall never asked us to help her. I doubt she ever would. That’s what makes me want to do this even more.
Tanner pulls out his phone. “I can make a call and get the ball rolling. What do you guys think?”
“Do it. Have them call my assistant to work out the details on my end.
